Welcome!

We are excited to announce our new newsletter and website ! We have spent weeks getting to this point. We expect minor glitches along the way, so please report any difficulties you may have with the site. We are hoping to make it easier to see everything we do, and get signed up to participate.

We have also rolled out our Ambassadors program, made up of volunteers who will help the recreation department to serve more people, please see the related article. Many thanks to all of those talented energetic people.

April 18, 2026 - We took 4 full busses to the Ludlow Monument and to several museums in Trinidad. A great time was had by all!

The Ambassadors
Making the Recreation Department better and more funner...

Due to the great programs and adventures that Donna has brought to the recreation department, the workload placed on her has increased considerably, and she was often needed in 2 or 3 places at once, to say nothing of going on all of the weekend trips. On top of the increase in demand, there has been decreases in grant funding and increases in costs, requiring fundraising to assist with costs, or cut back on programs and trips or raise fees. From these needs arose the Ambassadors - Eager and helpful volunteers who want to be involved and want to help. They are just getting started, but you may have already seen us on a trip or helping out with an event - If you do, please thank them for their service.
