DESCRIPTION:We aren’t making this up – “FLOWER MOON”… A “Full Moon” hike along a flat uneven dirt trail to Arkansas Point overlook\, then continue our journey downhill on an uneven dirt trail to the South Shore Marina.  The hike is timed to see the sunset in the west\, followed by moonrise in the east.

DESCRIPTION:As we walk along the trail beginning at the 4th street bridge to the Nature Center\, we will observe nature in the making. The trail is a well paved trail for walking\, and we will observe wild turkeys and white tail deer. A remarkable trail for within our community. Dress in layers for the weather with a light jacket and hat. Bring water and snacks in a light backpack along with your lunch at the Nature Center.
